Student Scholarships and Fee Waivers for Financial Hardship!

Generous donations to the Hawai'i-Pacific Evaluation Association (H-PEA) have made it possible to provide Student Scholarships for the H-PEA conference. Students can apply to have their conference registration fees waived and then have an opportunity to:

A. Volunteer for the full conference

B. Volunteer for part of the conference and present at the conference

(an acceptance letter to present is required; please submit your proposal with the Call for Proposals. The proposal submission deadline is May 11, 2026. Notifications of acceptance will be June 8, 2026: https://h-pea.org/conference2026)

Scholarships and Fee Waivers will not apply to post-conference workshops held Friday, September 18.

Scholarship and Fee Waiver for Financial Hardship Information

Thank you for your interest in attending and/or presenting at this year’s Hawaiʻi-Pacific Evaluation Conference 2025. The applications for Student Scholarship and fee waiver for Financial Hardship will open in May. Scholarships and fee waivers are for the conference registration fee only (i.e., post-conference workshop fees are not included).

Eligibility requirements:

Student Scholarship: full-time graduate or undergraduate student at an accredited higher education institution.
Financial Hardship Fee Waiver: certify that your financial hardship would prevent you from attending the conference.

Please note that all awardees will volunteer at the conference, in-person at the Koʻolau Ballrooms and Conference Center on Oʻahu. Volunteer opportunities include serving at the registration table, serving as a room moderator, and providing technology support.

Deadline: Friday, August 21, 2026 11:59 pm HST

Notification: Awards will be made on a rolling basis but no later than September 4, 2026. If awarded, you will receive a fee waiver code to use when you register for the conference.
